What is StreetsAhead Margate?

It’s been a busy first week. We’ve come together from within the community. Shared ideas, thought of a name . We know it’s more important doing and having a direction than having a name.

We’re going to open our pop-up shop HQ next week. It’s situated at 60 High Street, just opposite KFC. We need to source furniture, get it cleaned up following a flood, work out a way between us to get wifi in there. We’re starting again in money terms. So while the coffers are empty we’re working out some great things we can do with good will. It may well have limited opening hours at the moment while we coordinate volunteers and get it all set up. But it’s moving.
